Each new league and location also defines a minimum amount required to enter a race. As you move into higher-tier content, the entry threshold becomes more demanding, but the potential reward grows with it.

To participate in the races, we add balance to players for the time they were away, but no more than 9 hours. With reasonable play, this balance is enough for 2 hours.

In other words, the game can be completely free for you. No FOMO, no restrictions. Of course, you might want to play longer and achieve more, but that is entirely the player's choice. We don't force or limit you.

Betting in Ace Race is built around three layers: a main race entry bet, side bets on suits, and combo bets on poker-style results. The system is simple to use, but it gives the player several different ways to back a race outcome.

The three bet types

• Main bet

This is the core bet for entering the race. If you press race without placing it manually, the game can add the minimum main bet automatically before the race begins.

• Side bets

These are bets on suits. You can place side bets only on up to two suits at the same time, which keeps the choice meaningful instead of letting players cover everything.

• Combo bets

These are stacked bets on poker-style combinations. They are placed in order, level by level, from Combo 1 upward, like building a ladder.

• You spend coins from your balance. Every successful bet instantly reduces your wallet balance.
• You increase a selected bet slot. The amount usually grows by the current minimum bet step for that location or league.
• The UI updates immediately. The game shows the new amount and updates the active state of the selected bet.
• You can undo while the amount stays above zero. The game does not allow any bet to go below zero.

A good way to explain it on the site: bets are not random taps. They are controlled, visible allocations from the player’s virtual wallet before the race starts.

You cannot overspend

• If your balance is too low, the game simply rejects the new bet. You can only stake coins you actually have.

You cannot go below zero

• Undo actions stop when the current amount reaches zero. The game never creates a negative bet.

Only two side suits

• You may actively bet on no more than two suits at once. That forces a real prediction instead of full coverage.

• Combo bets are built as a chain: Combo 1, then Combo 2, then Combo 3, and so on.
• You cannot skip ahead in the chain. The next available combo level opens only after the previous one is active.
• The combo UI behaves like a ladder of ten possible levels, which makes progression easy to read.
• Undo removes the latest active combo level instead of clearing everything at once.

Player-friendly explanation: combo betting rewards commitment. The deeper you go into the combo ladder, the more specialized your prediction becomes.

What happens when the race starts

In tutorial or demo progression, the game can start the race locally after the betting screen is complete. In regular online flow, the selected bets are packed and sent to the server as three groups:

• Main bet amount
• Up to two side bets, stored as suit + amount pairs
• Ten combo slots, stored as a fixed array of values

If the server accepts the bets, the race begins. If not, the player gets an error message instead of entering a race with invalid data.
